Sara, a rural primary school teacher, mourns the loss of her magical sister Fae. She struggles to deal with the barrage of unwanted admin that comes with organising a funeral and untangling her sister’s life when to top it all off her school has to shut down.

After the funeral, Sara discovers her sister’s ashes have turned to “Fae-ry Dust”. They can do almost anything. Sara throws herself and the Dust into solving all of the community’s problems in an attempt to bury her own feelings and patch herself up.
